A Big Step

Even though it didn't feel like it, yesterday was a monumental day. I graduated from high school. Since it was a rather crazy day, the fact that I just graduated didn't really sink in until tonight. I was outside swinging, looking at the field sprinkled with specks of light (fireflies), when I really began to think about it. It's an odd thought. But an exciting one. I can't wait to see what is in store for me next in this journey of life. I really hope it's something amazing, but I also need to prepare myself for disappointment. Either way, I'm ready to face it.
