Spring Came Early
Last week the weather was absolutely beautiful, with temperatures close to the eighties. Our tulips became a little too eager to make their entrance, and some them went ahead and bloomed. Tulips are my favorite flowers, they are so simple and pretty. A random little fact, they also come in all colors except blue. You may now go win a trivia contest with that. :)
Of course the weather has reverted back to normal, with temperatures down in the forties and rain. The poor tulips look kind of sad, tightly closed up against the rain and chill.

Double Digits
Thanks to Laura, I now have ten followers!!! Call it weird, but having nine followers had been really bugging me for a while. I like even numbers, they look nice. I feel like I should celebrate in some way; send ya'll thank you cards, throw an awesome online party, or something.
Yes, I know its been a while since I lasted posted, but nothing really exciting has happened in our neck of the woods lately. Unless taking the SAT counts. It really wasn't as hard as I expected, but I'm not sure if that's a good sign. Those were seriously probably four of the longest hours of my life. Well, actually over four hours. Apparently someone got in trouble, and while the teachers were dealing with him we spent twenty minutes (I timed it) staring out the window in absolute silence. We were facing the dumpster, so we got to watch the crows eat out of it. Fun. That was the biggest room of zoned out people I have ever seen.
We gave Jennifer a baby shower this weekend, and it went well. She got some really nice gifts. She has ended up having a lot of showers, eight in all! That's a lot of cake and punch. We'll hopefully meet Jonas in three weeks! It's hard to believe!

Random Ramblings
I've been looking at my posts, and have come to the realization that my blog is kind of boring. Thank you to all the people who actually read it. I don't ever really talk about myself or what's going on in my life. I'm a private person, and it can be hard for me to open up. I'll give it a shot, though.
Lately I've been working on expanding my fairy garden. A fairy garden is pretty much just a miniature garden for those of you who don't know. I'm putting a fence around it, which I'm really excited about. The posts are up, so I just need to build the sides. I can't wait to start setting my plans into action!
I'm looking at selling some of out produce this year. We've been talking about it, and I really hope that it will work out. I have talked about it for years, so it would be a dream come true. What can I say, I shoot high. :)
I can't believe that I graduate next year! When I was younger I thought about graduating, but it didn't seem like it would ever happen. It's exciting, but nerve wracking at the same time. I'm ready to 'fly', as some people put it, but sometimes I wish life would stay the way it is right now.
On the other hand, I can't wait to see what plans God has in store for me, see what He has been preparing me for. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to have a farm. I always thought farmers' wives were so fortunate. I didn't think I could do it, though. I mean, none of the other girls I talked to wanted to be a farmer's wife. Then one day it hit me. Why can't I? After praying about it, I knew that this was God's will for my life. I know farming is not easy, but I can't think of another life that I would want. As my dad once said, "Farming is a hard life, but a good life."
